We seldom think of what we have, but always of what we miss.

Don’t cry because its over now, laugh because it happened.

The more precisely you plan, you harder destiny will hit you.

Plan for tomorrow, but live for today.

Love doesn’t require two people to look at each other, but to look together in the same direction.

The hardest lesson is this: which bridges in life to use and which to break off.

Be the change you wish to see in the world. -Gandhiji

What is lost is most precious; what is most precious because its lost. -Amiri Baraka

Love never truly leaves us…it goes where we go and travels with those we love…wherever they go.

If we have no peace, it is because we have forgotten that we belong to each other. -Mother Theresa

Everything changes but nothing is truly lost.

Knowing love I will allow all things to come and go. To be as supple as the wind, and to take everything that comes with great courage. As Rasah would say to me, life is right in any case. My heart is as open as the sky. -Kama Sutra, Mira Nair, 1997

I love you when you bow in your mosque, kneel in your temple, pray in your church. For you and I are sons (and daughters) of one religion, and it is the spirit. -Kahlil Gibran

“I mourn the loss of thousands of precious lives, but I will not rejoice in the death of one, not even an enemy. Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.” (Martin Luther King, Jr.)

“We can do no great things, only small things with great love.” – Mother Theresa

“They say if you find true love, God has been generous with you. And if you don’t it’s because he has become one with you”. (Saawariya, 2007)

“Sometimes you put walls up not to keep people out, but to see who cares enough to break them down.”

“Love is the funeral pyre where the heart must lay its body” Hafiz

    Tender words we spoke
    to one another
    …are sealed
in the secret vaults of heaven.
    One day like rain,
    they will fall to earth
    and grow green
    all over the world. ~Rumi

‎“Love is stronger than death even though it can’t stop death from happening, but no matter how hard death tries it can’t separate people from love. It can’t take away our memories either. In the end, life is stronger than death.”

“The members of the human race, are limbs one to another, for at creation they were one essence. When one limb is pained by fate, the other limb cannot rest.” (The Gulistan of Sa’di of Shiraz, 1:10)

Sometimes to understand yourself, you have to see yourself through someone else’s eyes~

Love is always patient and kind; it is never jealous; love is never boastful or conceited; it is never rude or selfish; it does not take offense, and is not resentful.
